Where I Begin

The Sanctuary

Here I sit not alone by the fountain in the garden. Sometimes reading or just listening or both. Most times I just sit here by the fountain with wandering minds contemplating as my eyes go about feasting uncontentedly, watching the birds chirping and playing merrily flapping their wings.

The bees are making beehives on the trees and some are despatchers to harvest nectars that are so plentiful around here. The garden immerses with  different colours from all kinds of flowers, crafts so beautifully with multitude of butterflies and dragonflies, they too are of various sizes and shapes, some in colours almost same as the flowers, not alike but equals.

They are not alike because as we all know insects are not flowers. Insects love flowers and the flowers know that, they cease to exist without each other.

Equality is nothing more than it is a delicate equalibrium in likeness and unlikeness. Positives must have negatives to function perfectly in the equations of the universe. Thus all creations are equals in the balance of nature. The sincerity is accepting the fact that each and everyone has reason, known or hidden, to exist to fulfill the purpose of the design. The designer himself is not helpless or feels incomplete because he can easily come out with another design or other creations. Thus the designer's perfection is he himself. When he is perfect hence all his creativities and creations are all perfect.

Absolute Perfection therefore can be easily understood as There is None In Comparison To Him or His Creativity. None Similar To Him and None Above Him. To put it another way; The Designer Himself  is Above All Errors and Above All Perfections.  Thus he cannot be two or three or many. There is only one. No one else but him. He is The Only One. He is God or in Arabic Allah and  has ninety-nine attributes of perfections known to us which are also His Names. Thus we say; Only God Whose Name Is Beautiful can creates beautiful creations that include us and everything else in The Universe.

Since all of us are His Beautiful Creations that are all endowed with His attributes of Beauty, Creativity and Perfection thus we emulate Him in each and every aspects. We attempt to do whatever He does!  Not knowing the fact that He is Perfect without any imperfection and we are perfect with all the imperfections. He is Absolute. Him and us we are not alike and not equal. Without this consciousness which is call humility, one become haughty and naughty. Without the sincerity to acknowledge Him, one becomes little god that trespasses His boundaries and earns His displeasure simply because we try to be Him. We become Proud and has Pride but we fail to have His Humility and His Humbleness to admit sincerely that we are nothing compares to Him that we must surrender our all to Him. Only to Him. With full sincerity and humility.

This is the essence of  beauty. To have love one must surrender oneself absolutely and completely. When one is sincere in surrender only then and thence only one can see the beauty.

The landscape is mesmerizing with all sorts of creativities and designs. The masterpiece that is now unfolding infront of me is so clear as clearly as your face in the mirror. In fact the garden is unity in forms that I can summarise only as perfection in all its imperfections for it is merely a garden. As with all creations the imperfections are not without reasons.

Sanctify is Allah, All Praise Belongs to Him

The Garden is more like a huge park than it is a garden. But it is more than just a huge park considering all the huge parks with gardens that I visit is not anywhere similar or equal to this garden. This one where I am now is a more like a sanctuary than just a park or garden for that matter. Not to offend some people that often come and go about to look, the name Firdaus in arabic which means Paradise remains only as The Garden. I prefer to call it my sanctuary or simply my valley for the simple reason that this is where my home now.

Trees, small man-made lakes, gazebos and gardens are everywhere here but the central point of this wide open sanctuary is a most beautiful mosque name Serenity which I can only describe here as more beautiful than Taj Mahal. The architecture and fittings has semblance to the Sophia Mosque but the landscape follows after the Elhambra in Spain especially the numerous fountains and small garden patches that scatter all over its compound.

From where I am sitting now you can only see one of the four tall minarets. There some 40 metres or so before you reach the entrance to Serenity is where you can find the big fountain which is the biggest of all the fountains in the known universe.

Serenity perches majestically at the water edge of the big lake facing Mecca. On its top is a greenish discolored dome surrounded by rows of solar panels which are hidden from sight by low half walls nicely dressed with mixture of light green and bluish dark green motifs so from far one's impression is a crown perches on water. At nights the view is breathtaking because of light effects on the huge dome with four minarets reflecting on the lake surface. It is a favourite for writers, painters and photographers when they come looking for inspirations.

The wide lake curves like one half of one's kidney or more accurately, similar to a foetus inside a womb when one views from the minaret top the river that runs ziggyzag to the mountain ranges forms an umblical cord to the big lake. The greenish shadows on its clear water are actually chlorella, single-cell algae plants specially cultured by some brilliant scientists from Japan although the seedlings are from Hunza Valley which is somewhere between Xinjiang and Kazakhstan. They tell me that people who drinks from the lake have longer lives. The water taste similar like any pond water except lighter because of recirculation and filteration technology which make it very safe for consumption. In fact the lake water is the only source for drinking, cooking and washing in the valley. Water for farming is drawn by small solar powered pumps to little streams lined with walkways and gardens and together with some huge pumps driven by wind turbines located along the hills they form a sustainable green electrical power generation and  superbly efficient integrated irrigation systems for organic farming and rearing of animals. In fact the theme of the way of living here at the sanctuary is one with nature, it echoes with everything that is related to ecology with very well-defined ecosystem inspired by the personality of The Keeper Of The Fountain.

The air is so breathtakingly clean since you will not find any kind of vehicles powered by fossils fuel. One can either walk to contemplate the beauty of the valley or for the adventurous type on horses to romantic locations within the sanctuary. For the disabled and not energetically inclined there are regular solar-powered monorails that provide services to all the major locations around the valley. It is really grandeur in Simplicity that I am not able to narrate in full in this short journal.
